The purpose of this study is to evaluate the predominant scientific outcomes presented in the expansive realm of education, encompassing its forms, structure, and foundations. This evaluation is conducted through a diagnostic examination of the final projects completed within the Basic Education and Special Education programs at the National University of Education of Ecuador. The primary objective is to contribute trends and enhancements in the guidance and execution of tertiary level projects in this realm of knowledge. The diagnostic analysis employs the method of document analysis and follows the guide of content analysis. The study considers the population of final projects defended between 2019 and 2022 in both academic tracks. The study establishes trends in the formulation and substantiation of key scientific results within these final projects, examining their form, content, as well as the rationale behind these results, their placement, and their significance within the context of the projects.
